I can fit 3, possibly 4 people into my car.

That's what Mary and I use. you pay $50 for th ephone, get enough airtime to last the con.
The only downside is a new number every damn time

Thinking back I do think it was the Tuesday morning - midday when we went to it, so it was quiet enough. The food was cheap and cheerful though.

I'll be flying in on Thursday night (Landing about 7:20) so I don't think I'll be making the meetup either way. In saying that I am working on getting my Cell phone re-activated so I can get in contact with you fine folks once I'm there.

I wouldn't say no to a new place, but the food is phenomenal. It's downtown Atlanta on a holiday weekend. There are simply a lot of folk coming and going.

    Ideas, opinions?
To be fair, there was a lot of miscommunication on when your party would get there. The Vortex doesn't seat parties unless everyone is there. I like the Vortex but I had a lot more fun at the original one (has the laughing skull entrance) which is a couple of miles away from the hotel.

Any Atlanteans got suggestions of places to go for ~20-30 people? I agree, the major hotels are pricey. Is Trader Vic's still around? Have never been there before but I've heard good feedback about it.

What happened that they're less than hospitable? Mind you, I wasn't there last year so I don't know why. But I'm good for whereever.
