Favored Eldest Nephew is planning on coming to Con, but needs a room (ours is full). Anyone need a roomie who can pay for space?
You know you want your very own Minnesotan con virgin!

as fa as transport from airport to hotel, I'll rely on the horseshoe up my ass and intestines lined with fourleaf clover. Or, ya know, take the train rail thingy. Even when something BAD tries to happen, like my first year at D*C taking the train to the airport someone tried to pickpocket my purse. Joke was on them, nothing of import in the purse, AND they were bad at not tugging on the zipper of said purse, and THEN after making a commotion when I noticed the pickpocket, a very tall guy in a kilt came and suggested heavily that the guy move away from me and get off at the next stop and wait for the next train and sat with me for the rest of the ride.
Seriously, even when I have bad luck, it's really good luck.
And then last year I randomly made friends with two young ladies in the terminal of the airport in Buffalo on the way down to Atlanta who were going to work a vendor table for their boss and offered me a ride in their taxi to the hotel.
plane ticket was bought for me, email at the ready. My spot in my room with AsianMommy and Greyloch has been covered by Greyloch when I tried telling them that I couldn't afford it this year.
Just gotta come up with funsies money and food, but I could live outta the con suite, that can be a thing too.
Dear, I love and if I har that you tried surviving the weekend on con suite food, I'm gonna wap ya :P
You'll get fed, after all must keep the strength up for bishi hunting!

Also, I would never expect my friends to buy me food. Besides. Con Suite actually has decent food. I know! I ate there a little bit last year. Remember, I'm used to a ramen kind of diet.
They need to host one of these things in Harrogate, where we can take over my father's place as a forum crash-pad for the duration and I can cook in his huge kitchen. This whole thing with hotels in the centre of Atlanta, Georgia, across the Atlantic Ocean, just isn't helping me. It's not like a decorated Dark Sorcery would survive the flight.
When I was fifteen, my father thought I knew nothing. When I was twenty-five, I was amazed by how little he thought I'd learned in such a long time.
