Halcon?

I just started to read this webcomic a week ago (almost read all the comics!) and I fricken love it. Usually I don't follow web comics or where there artists go to cons, but I checked it just for fun. I was so surprised to learn that she was going to Halcon!

I would really like to buy a book from her and get it signed. (just gotta wait for payday!)

I just noticed that she is coming to Halcon this year and I nearly exploded. I never check the convention section because I never thought she would come to Halifax but she is and I'm definitely giving her something cool when I see her.

Can someone tell me what happened here? Jennie never showed up and apparently never registered a table she also took down the marker on the google map under her convention section. Did she cancel?

Cancellation: Hal-Con

Hey guys,

There’s been a small mix up and we won’t be making it to Hal-Con this year. This brings an unexpected, retroactive close to our convention season.

I’ll post an update if anything new pops up.

The hibernation will last until late January, when we’ll poke our heads out in wonderful Portland. I don’t know if we’ll see our shadows, but it should be fun.

*Sigh* Oh well there's always next year.

This con has been interesting to say the least the fire marshal said the con was over capacity so they called an evacuation but no one wanted to leave so there was never a proper evacuation they just stopped more people from coming in until there was space so there was a six hour wait and the con had to give out refunds to those who couldn't get back in. The con was still fun I played my first RPG ever, Pathfinder and I won a copy of the core rulebook.

After the shit show that was this con I think it was for the best that Jennie didn't come. I asked for a partial refund because I missed out on half the stuff I wanted to do because of the bad management and I was told I had to email the con head and send him a photo of me wearing my bracelet to prove I went and then maybe I'd see some money so I'm just going to forget about it.
