Hello, folks,

AM here! I'm going to take charge of the pizza party/meetup again this year.

I am going to call Mellow Mushroom up and try to reserve us at least half of the outside space, unless someone really wants to try and get us a room at one of the hotels. If that's the case, you can take it on and I'll support you.

I figured we'll do Saturday, since that's the night of Kilt Blowing.

I don't think all of us would fit into one room comfortably. Hell, we had a portion of you delinquents in our room on Saturday of last year and it was a tight fit.

How are people's DC plans coming?

I am hoping to have a costume, but between raising my daredevil son and my inherent laziness, I'm not sure if I will actually complete one. I might be able to finish my chainmaille top, though. Maybe.

I'm starting to get excited! My hubby and I are driving to St Louis to pick up some people, then carpooling to Atlanta. We'll get there Thursday and leave Tuesday. I'm especially looking forward to the pizza party!

Current status: hoarding all my money for D*C. Have already started restricting my caffiene intake so my tolerance is back to human levels and it actually, ya know WORKS for the con.

Also! I am going to be working at a vendor's booth a little bit this year! Whoo!
