    EW!

Al! Don't make me take the whip out!

    *hands him pants*

Put those on now, or at least restrain the naughty bits somehow!

Ew ew ew ew ew. I get enough free views from my neighbours. I don't need it on the forums too.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eyeball. Then...
    Hey, free eyeball!

er... uhm... pounce? Anything after Al's pounce and visions of him doing the Lambada is kinda anti-climatic.

Welcome to the board. We don't bite... much ... or hard... unless you ask really nice.

I bite, but only when provoked.

Usually I just poke people a lot. And whip them. I was given this really pretty cat-o-nine-tails the other day.

        *holds up really big whip*

        See? Pretty.

So, Plunder, are you gay yet?

When I was fifteen, my father thought I knew nothing. When I was twenty-five, I was amazed by how little he thought I'd learned in such a long time.

Being in my general vicinity when I'm in a biting mood and craving a smoke. Or annoying me, though I'm more likely to set my temper off its leash at that point... And that's not pretty.

Not having had a cig in a while, that means most of the time these days. The kitties usually get the majority of the initial bites, but then I realize I have fur in my mouth and move on to the boyfriend/pseudo-fiancee (think In The Puddle, pre-proposal. We'll get around to it, just haven't bothered yet.)

                      Monkey house is right.
I like monkeys though, they're pretty cool.

So that's a fetlock, huh... what does that translate to on a human? Wrists or ankles? I like to think I have nice wrists and/or ankles.

As for whips... yes! Everyone loves a good whip.
I'm trying to make one RIGHT NOW in fact.

The fetlocks actually translate to the wrist on the forelegs, and a cross between the toe joints and the ankle on the hind legs.

I rode horses for years as a kid/teenager. But my sister is severely allergic, and even being in the car after I had been picked up would set her off. So I had to stop riding.

When I move back out to New Hampshire, I'll probably start again.

I think that's the ball of the foot.

Note V: Patella on horse and patella on human. Compare 38 and 39 to tibia and fibula, 40-43 and W to the malleoli, tarsus and calcaneum.

The Fetlock appears to be the end of the metatarsals, before the phalanxes (all fused into single bones in the horse).

Hmmm... Comparing human bone structure to horse bone structure is hard, but I have to agree that the fetlock looks like it would be both the wrist joint and ball of one's foot.

Sable is right, actually. The fetlock is the toe joint. Horses (and most four-legged animals) walk on their toes. *headdesk*

I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'm not a bio person. Anatomy is the only class I nearly failed.
