I've never wanted to be present at a gun or knife fight. Seems little dangerous.

Very good point, but Ms Blake had to assume she'd be going to plenty of both, didn't she?

ya know... i always wondered.... with all the weaponry she carries as just a........ "non-threat situation" kinda deal, like if she went to church, how exactly does she keep not havin anything happen when her "emergencies" arise. i mean, its suggested that.... your brain pretty much dissappears in these moments so..... in their eagerness to get past the guns and the knives and the hugemongous sword on her spine...... how is it only the harnesses see any real damage? i mean yeah safety button is a big must and all but..... thats a big fucking knife. how in the hell in their eagerness does no one lose atleast a toe? i mean sword+sheath= heavy. i mean even without a bare blade theres gotta be an owwie in the making somewheres.

Lots of practice. I have often wondered how she didnt lop off a bit of her hair when she was taking her sword out.

yeah but its usually them ripping shit right off of her, and well most of them aren't used to weaponry outside of their own natural... er preternatural bodies. i always wondered how she was like "and there went the sword harness...." yet... she was not harmed in its destruction. i mean when you're that eager its not pretty its not smooth its not thought out. theres fumbling. fumbling with knives is scary, more so with guns. you'd think if that harness, being specially crafted and expensive, were to be torn off of her shed have atleast bruising around her shoulders if not worse. i dunno bout you but my experience with even weakly constructed nylon being yanked away left a pretty reminder like a bruise and carpet burn met and had a baby on me.

What a sad state of affairs in the UK.
A memorabilia collector was convicted and jailed for 5 years for owning a WWII Lee-Enfield rifle that was Decommissioned, "not capable of being fired".

..oh, wait, then they'd have to throw the executioner in jail for having a gun. Damn.

It may amuse you to note that the server you're posting on is in the UK. Well, it amuses me, and that's all that really counts

As Sehson says, if you want to argue gun politics, we have a debate forum over at Fratching.com and there are at least two gun threads over there. Far safer for this community if such doesn't degenerate here.

My apologies. Stories like the one posted earlier irk me to no end and tend to lower my politeness threshold.
