nifty trick to keep it from being as bad as it could.... when you first notice the pink-soon-to-blister take a cool shower immediately. NOT COLD. it actually helps most the burn turn to tan.



but the tan fades faster.

I, for one, like a woman with milky white skin. Or better, with freckles. Tanned skin has never appealed to me. Especially when it's been over done and the skin gets all leathery.

Give me a woman with soft, fair skin and I'm a very happy Troll.

I've never been fond of tanning. My younger sister (the blonde) got sun poisoning trying to tan once. She still tans herself. I was the one my mother was always calling anemic because I didn't make an effort to tan, if it happened it was incidental. And I always burn first.

Yea it is funny looking at yourself in the mirror once you've gotten the farmers tan. Tan/red arms face neck legs from knees down... and blindingly white everywhere else.

Though I'm sorta lucky I will hold color for along time, The V I get from my Faire shirts around my neck will last until February if I do an entire season.

It was really funny before I got my boots at faire the tan lines on my feet from the sandals lasted until the next faire season
