        you need to eat too.

i don't want to know my waist size. i'm happy in oblivion. i won't worry about it until i can see my entire feet without trying to play at yoga.

I did eat. I went off my meds for the summer and I gained like 8lbs. Been back on 'em for around a week now though and I think it's going away again.

I hated being off my meds.

Leffy, dear, thank you for the orders (and the caring - it really does mean a lot), but I haven't been that skinny for about 4 years now. Boyfriend was a big part of that, but so was actually getting a job where I wasn't berated for being smarter than everyone else.

I haven't had serious food issues for a few years now. They pop up every now and again, and my stress default is still to stop eating, but I'm basically healthy again.

And for reference, my (incredibly fit and somewhat metabolism-impared) sister has a 24" waist now, and she's always been smaller than me. So yeah, we trend towards tiny in my family.

Jeez, there are some tiny waists around here. I think my waist is about 30" but I haven't measured in a long time.... I know some people can be randomly skinny though, it isn't always a lack of a healthy diet. One of my friends is a size 0-2 in women's clothes and she packs food away when we go out to eat

                    I love the 'mommy' instinct.

*hugs* Keep at it. Food is good. The smoked gouda mac 'n' cheese I have in front of me definitely counts as win...

i made a nifty today since it was cool enough for the oven. i'd crock potted a chicken vegetable stew yesterday, so today i wanted to finish it but like not have the same damn thing exactly right? so i cheated hehehe, i made mashed flake-tatoes with a smidge less liquid then normal (i tend to make em super creamy) and smooshed into the bottom of a baking dish. smeared on the stew, then made a couple cups of stuffing with only enough water to wet it up a bit and plopped it on top. baked it in the oven until .... well honestly until i wondered what the good smell was cause i forgot it. then we ate it.

it was heavenly. and a one dish meal! two sides and an entree in one bowl! and it didn't do the freaky mix and weird tastey you'd think! it was good!

Sounds like a shepherd's pie type thing. Always loved shepherd's pie.

Shepherd's pie is mutton (oh, alright, lamb, these days) with potato on top. I think the mashed potato keeps the heat in. Cottage pie is basically the same but with beef ... because "beefcake" and "cottaging" go together, I suppose.
When I was fifteen, my father thought I knew nothing. When I was twenty-five, I was amazed by how little he thought I'd learned in such a long time.
