Turns out we didn't have the same definition of "good friend". They had only known each other a few months. Also turns out that her "good friend" had lied about her age and when her birthday was (replace "just turned" with "would be turning", and lose a few years). Bad enough, but there's always room for another fun turn, found out her mother is also a cop!
(great story for someone new on the forum to introduce themselves with, no? It all goes down hill from here folks!)
