  • How did Jennie get in my head?

18th September strip - that's so much like my thoughts when exercising it's uncanny!

    When I was on a treadmill I used to calculate fractions of the time or distance I'd selected and count my way through them: 1/20, 1/19, 1/18, 1/17, 1/16, 1/15, 1/14, 1/13, 1/12, 1/11, 1/10, 2/19, 1/9, 2/17, 1/8, 2/15, 1/7, 3/20, 2/13, 3/19, 1/6, 3/17, 2/11, 3/16, 1/5, 4/19, 3/14, .....
When I was fifteen, my father thought I knew nothing. When I was twenty-five, I was amazed by how little he thought I'd learned in such a long time.

Fifths of the distance or 750ml bottles?

Time. However, I do the occasional third and so forth.

Sometimes third of a pie I can afford to eat afterwards...

5,500 calories in one day? Groovy. Pass me another beer.
