I wish to be burned and the ashes launched in to space with Gene Roddenberry.

At 8:58 a.m. Mountain Time on 28 April 2007 (and after several delays), some of his ashes were sent about 70 miles above the earth on a private SpaceLoft XL rocket by Houston's Space Services, Inc., a company specializing in such memorials. The rocket was lost for three weeks after the flight but now has been found and all remains are still intact. Also among the participants of this flight were the ashes of US astronaut Gordon Cooper and "Star Trek" (1966)writer/director/producer John Meredyth Lucas, as well as 199 others. Space Services, Inc. had previously sent up the ashes of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry and LSD guru Timothy Leary in 1997

But hadn't realised ...

He was the only then-living "Star Trek" (1966) cast member not to lend his voice to the "Futurama" (1999) episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before", leading to his character Scotty being replaced by the farcical Welshie. According to the show's creators, his only response to their request that he appear on the show was a simple "No way.".

I love New Rock boots and apparel but the same as ExO_DsR getting stuff my size is very difficult since I'm a UK size 12 (US13, EU47) and most of their boots seem to go up to a size EU45, and the few that do go up to my size they charge an extra €13.57 for. At least on their online store, anyway. They're not cheap either, so I normally go with a similar make called Big Shark which look very similar but are half the price.

I will get a pair of New Rocks though... one day. Oh yes.

As for funerals... I want a viking funeral. All my closest friends, lots of booze and music and then throw my body on a pyre. Job done!

I have big flipper feet (flat-footed, eh, it happens) and, depending on the shoe manufacturer, go with a US 12, 12.5, 13, or EU46 (love my Havana Joe's). As I've learned the hard way, get your feet properly sized for the shoes/boots you want to get. Just got a pair of used Lucchese boots (US 12EE) that are a bit too big! That's a first for me.

Be specific about Viking funerals. Some are burned at sea, others are buried under rocks and mountain sides. Why do you think we know so much about Viking burials? If they were all burned at sea we wouldn't find anything. And never piss off Asatru followers. It just isn't worth it - they have the most evil homework and aren't afraid to assign it to anyone. Ever!

Have peopel heard? A couple guys in England have found a huge pile of Viking treasure, with a metal detector, and the British museum has bought it for something like £100, 000!!

if you're in the right area and its in the right condition you can get pretty pennies for civil war stuffs. some families down here had their valuables hidden from both camps when they had to abandon home for safety. a friend of mine found fancy silver in her back yard before adding on to her house one time because of that. wasn't much, but she cleaned it up and now has a pretty nifty candelabra.
