  • Jen as Romance Novel sketch (02-09-08)

Love the Saturday sketch, Jen. It looks just like the layout for a new "Let's read it on the beach" Romance Novel!

Well, of course that's not the ONLY place, but I figured it's a sketch, so we have a ways to go before it's done. Must be a Summer Romance!

I thought the corset reminded me of zombie geisha and the background was piles of skulls.

        I'm weird like that, too.
When I was fifteen, my father thought I knew nothing. When I was twenty-five, I was amazed by how little he thought I'd learned in such a long time.

my mind like crashed at the thought of Jen illustrating for a romance novel. cause one they're wanna be porn. and two she may not have the same sense of humor i do but it runs along the same vein and i think shed make more goof then the novelist would endear to hehehehe.

Yes, but think how AWESOME it would be to create a ROMANCE NOVEL in the style that the 16-year-old girl in all of us expects with Jen (Yes, OUR Jen) as the main character! OMG, that would be huge (and very satisfying).

                O.o

I don't think there's a 16-yr-old girl in me. I'm fairly sure that would itch, or something. I just love chocolate.

                ...

Okay, my mind isn't going there anyway. Carry on.

I still think that's Talia. Y'all notice the piles of skulls around her?

                    Yes. Yes, I did.

Whoever it is, she's cute in a lures-pirates-to-their-doom kind of way.

I was pretty sure of it, and with the full art up today it's pretty obvious.

that's gotta be one weird romance novel you guys are thinking about.

like i said almost frightening. but all romances have either massive man boobage or at risk well bodiced beauties. this counts as a well bodiced beauty

but it is gorgeous. i'd buy a book just to have this cover.

I don't know if it is just me or what but I think she looks like a pirate. Yup definitely very piratish looking and the skulls are nice too.
